On Dec.6th, the acceptance test of the Gavia AUV was carried out in Lingang Dishui Lake in Shanghai. The test was successful in the presence of customer and other peers.

On July 8, China's first professional hydrographic survey vessel 'Haixun 08' capable of deep-sea surveying was launched in Jiangnan Shipyard. 'Hai Xun 08' ship of the Eastern Navigations Service Center, Maritime Safety Administration ,People's Republic of China is a new generation of large-scale professional hydrographic surveying vessels with the largest scale, the strongest comprehensive capabilities and the most advanced equipment in China.

As the first domestic modern scientific research vessel in China,Mainly focusing on geophysical exploration, seismic acquisition and processing, Moreover, It can realize 11,000-meter water depth and seabed topography, geological structure detection and comprehensive marine environment three-dimensional detection, its performance has reached the international advanced level.

Teledyne Gavia AUV and Argus 4000m ROV, two sets of deep water survey equipment， were delivered to Polar Research Institute of China Polar Research Institute of China during the 2020 epidemic by Geo-marine.Under the help of various aspects concerned, although there were many problems, they were gradually eliminated. The ROV was finally recovered to the deck. At this moment, the sea is dark, but the sparks of victory ignited in the hearts of all members of the Geo-marine team, bright and clear.

“Xuelong 2” is the first self-built polar icebreaker and scientific expedition ship of China . Xuelong 2 was put into use on July 11, 2019. It is equipped with advanced oceanographic survey and observation equipment, which can reach a high degree of integration and self-consistency of the scientific expedition system.
